AP/CP Program
The Anatomic (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) residency is a four year program that offers training in anatomic and
clinical pathology. A minimum of 18 AP rotations and 18 CP rotations are required to fulfill eligibility for American
Board of Pathology certification. The Anatomic Pathology subspecialties include Autopsy, Cytopathology, Forensics,
Pediatric Pathology, and Surgical Pathology. The Clinical Pathology subspecialties include Clinical Chemistry,
Hematopathology, Microbiology, Molecular Pathology, Electron Microscopy/Renal Biopsy/Immunology and Transfusion Medicine.
AP Program
The Anatomic Pathology program is a three year track that offers training in anatomic pathology. A minimum of 24
months of AP training are required to fulfill eligibility for American Board of Pathology certification. Elective
rotations in clinical pathology subspecialties are available upon request.
CP Program
The Clinical Pathology program is a three year track that offers training in all the clinical pathology subspecialties.
A minimum of 24 months of CP training are required to fulfill eligibility for American Board of Pathology certification.
Elective rotations in surgical pathology are available upon request.
